Educare Schools
Educare Omaha at Kellom and Indian Hill serve children from birth to age five with year-round, full-day, state-licensed Head Start and Early Head Start programs. These schools offer low teacher-child ratios, coaching for teachers, and Family and Community Engagement Specialists to support child and family goals. The children benefit from 100 percent of lead teachers having a bachelor’s degree, with 18 percent holding a master’s degree.
We prioritize continuity of care, ensuring children build strong, lasting relationships with their caregivers and teachers. Through ongoing assessments, parent-teacher conferences, and home visits, we partner with families to track developmental progress and provide personalized support. In addition, our centers offer comprehensive family engagement services and access to on-site healthcare and nutrition professionals, giving children and their families the resources they need to thrive.
Family Engagement Specialists
The Family and Community Engagement Specialists support children and families by providing information and activities designed to enhance the parent-child relationship. They assist families in setting goals for self-sufficiency and are available to help with problem-solving during times of crisis by connecting them with appropriate community agencies.
